Nancy Louise Cochran

Nancy Louise Cochran, age 77 of Ottawa, passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 at Aperion Care in Marseilles.

Private services will be held with burial in Prairie Center Cemetery. Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Nancy was born December 10, 1945 in West Frankfort, Illinois to John and Sylvia (Launis) Minor. She married Darrell Cochran May 2, 1998 at Shabbona Park in Harding, Illinois. Surviving are her husband, Darrell; children, Irwin (Michele) Ayers and Robert Reese all of Ottawa; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Reese of Ottawa; step-children, Susan (Dave) Schmid of Cardington, OH, Matthew (Marcy) Cochran of Oswego, IL and Ronnie (Blake) Spensberger of Donnellson, IL. She also leaves grandchildren, Riley (Mackenzie) Reese, Briana Reese, Liam (Giovanna) Neumann, Christian (Kathleen) Neumann and Ian (Nicole) Neumann; great-grandchildren Oslo Neumann and Hazel Reese; step-grandchildren Joel Schmid, Mason Schmid, Alyssa Arocho, Christian Arocho, Jayden Arocho, Bindy Lemmons, Audrey Gasser and Remi Spensberger; and step-great-granddaughter Malani Webb. Nancy was preceded in death by a son, Richard Reese.

Nancy retired as a loan officer at Centrue Bank in Ottawa. She enjoyed gardening and just being outdoors. Time most precious to her was that spent with her loving family and friends.
