OTTAWA - Andrew Moskal, age 85, of Ottawa, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2011 at his residence. There will be no visitation or services. Gladfelter Funeral Home is honored to serve the Moskal family. Andrew was born June 24, 1926 at Chicago, Illinois. He married LaVerne Meller, who preceded him in death April 2, 2004. Surviving are his sons, Ken Moskal of Ottawa and Michael Moskal of Lamont; two sisters, Helen Novak and Rose Moskal of Chicago; and a granddaughter, Marie Moskal. Mr. Moskal was an Army veteran of World War II and was a retired machinist for the Chicago Tribune.
