Austin J. Rodriguez

Austin J. Rodriguez, 27, of Ottawa, passed away at his home on March 21, 2026.

Visitation for Austin will be on March 29, 2026 from 2-4 p.m. at Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home. Cremation rites will follow.

Austin was born on June 26, 1998 in Peru, Illinois, the son of Roger Conrad Jr. and Lisa (Rodriguez) Leonard. Austin was an active person who enjoyed hiking, skateboarding, and gymnastics. He was on the wrestling team as a kid and later enjoyed Jiu-Jitsu and MMA. Austin had a talent for guitar and video games, of which Mortal Kombat was his favorite. Austin was also in the process of taking up modeling.

Austin is survived by his father, Roger Conrad Jr.; mother, Lisa Leonard; brothers, Alan Lucas, Alexander Leonard, and Roger Conrad III; sisters, Alyssa Lucas, Amanda Lucas, Alexia Leonard, Aaliyah Garcia, and Jessica Pastirik; nieces and nephews, Brooklyn Stohr, John Pierce, Jayla Pierce, Nevaeh Lucas, Grayson Littlebrant, and Josiah Williams. He was preceded in death by his step-dad, Howard Leonard; and grandparents, Peter and Mary Rodriguez.
