Bonnie Sue Knutson

OTTAWA - Bonnie Sue Knutson, age 60, of Ottawa, passed away Monday, September 19, 2011 at La Salle County Nursing Home. Funeral services honoring her life will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011 at First United Methodist Church in Ottawa with Reverend David Davies officiating. Private interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2011 at Gladfelter Funeral Home. Bonnie was born August 28, 1951 at Joliet, Illinois, a daughter of Manley C. and Vera (Milby) Knutson. She is survived by her sisters, Beverly (Bruce) Hucker of Ottawa and Merle (Michael) Clark of Darien, IL; a brother, David Knutson of Sunnyvale, CA; four step-sisters, Gail Knutson of Ottawa, Monica (David) Pershick of Normal, IL, Carol Knutson (Peter Stuck) of Hudson, IL and Karen (Eric) Ladenheim of Clovis, CA; and one step-brother, Gary Knutson of Ottawa. She also leaves two nieces, Molly Maffeo and Mallory Clark; a nephew, Benjamin Hucker; one step-niece, Victoria Pershick; three step-nephews, Alex and Andrew Ladenheim and Colin Pershick; and two great-nieces, Isabella and Gracie Maffeo. She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-mother, Christine (Vicich) Knutson. Bonnie was a member of First United Methodist Church. She had been employed at Snap-On Tools and B & B Electronics. Memorial contributions may be made to the family for camp scholarships through First United Methodist Church.
