Brenda S. Yott

Brenda Sue Yott, 52, of Ottawa, died Friday, December 8, 2006, at Community Hospital of Ottawa. Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Gladfelter Funeral Home with the Rev. Oscar Shepherd of the La Salle Foursquare Church officiating. Cremation will be accorded. Burial of the cremains will be private at a later date in Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. Tuesday until the time of services. Mrs. Yott was born March 5, 1954, in Ottawa, to Kenneth L. and Stella Mae (Cox) Hayes. She was a former nurses aid at both Community Hospital of Ottawa and the Ottawa Pavilion. She was a member of the La Salle Foursquare Church. She is survived by her former husband, Merle Yott of Oglesby; her mother of Ottawa; three brothers, Michael (Shirley) Cox of Marseilles, Kenneth E. and Brian Hayes both of Ottawa; a sister, Wanda Hayes of Ottawa; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; both of her grandparents; and a nephew, Wesley Kenneth Hayes. Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
