Bruce Carver-Scaman

Bruce Carver Scaman, 57, of La Salle, formerly of Ottawa, died Wednesday, August 09, 2006, at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru. Funeral services will be at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Gladfelter Funeral Home with the Rev Tim Johnson of Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church officiating. Cremation will be accorded. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Saturday until the time of services at 4:30 p.m. Mr. Carver Scaman was born September 16, 1948, in Morris to Raymond Scaman and Mozzell (Kittrell) Carver. He was married to Ronea Meredith in 1979, in La Salle County. She died October 7, 1988. He was a auto mechanic. He is survived by a son, Joshua of Ottawa; a daughter, Candi Fuller of La Salle; four grandchildren, Caleb and Ethan Scaman, William and Kira Fuller; two brothers, Robert and Barry Carver both of Ottawa, and three sisters, Pat Wilson of Channahon, Ill., Pamela Sue Carmeron of Ottawa and Kathy Lynn Newkirk of Marseilles. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents. Memorials may be directed to the family.
