Bruce Alan Weaver, age 66, of Ottawa, departed this earthly life Friday, September 11, 2026.

Bruce was born March 13, 1960 in Ottawa, Illinois, a son of Lawrence E. and Dorothy M. (Spence) Weaver. Surviving are nephews, Matthew (Julie) Weaver, Sr. and Andrew Weaver; great nieces, Sheyanne Weaver and Rhinnon Weaver.; and a great nephew Matthew Weaver, Jr. Bruce also leaves special friends Terry and Christy Bentz. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ronald and Dennis Weaver.

Bruce was a member of Grace Baptist Church where he sang in the choir. He had been employed at the Etna Car Wash and Zip Pack through Friendship House. Bruce was a kind and caring man who will be dearly remembered and missed by many.

Visitation will be Monday, September 21st beginning at 4:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 5:30 at Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home. Pastor Jonathan C. Walker of Grace Baptist Church will officiate. Private interment will be in Oakwood Memorial Park.
