Carol Anne Hayson

Carol A. Hayson, 77, of LaSalle, passed away on April 9, 2025, at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 8th at Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home with Pastor Sherry Stevenson officiating. Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Park.

Carol was born on September 22, 1947, the daughter of Ralph and Ester (Fox) Miller. She attended Ottawa schools and worked at Yarger's Coffee until she met her husband, Charles Hayson. From that point on she stayed home and helped to raise her family. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene for many years. Gardening and flowers were Carol's passion. She enjoyed planting flowers and helping her plants grow. Carol also enjoyed going to the casinos and taking day trips with her family and friends. Carol loved her family and will be deeply missed.

Carol is survived by her daughter Debra. She was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Centko; her parents; her stepfather, Dominic Vignali; and her husband, Charles Hayson.
