David Vernon Davis

BELLEVILLE, ILLINOIS – David Vernon Davis, age 74, of Belleville, Illinois, formerly of Ottawa, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018 at Four Fountains Convalescent Center in Belleville.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Sunday, March 18th at the Ottawa Church of Christ on Gentleman Road.  There will be no visitation.  Private inurnment will be in Plainfield Township Cemetery in Plainfield, Illinois at a later date.  Gladfelter Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

David was born April 15, 1943 in Joliet, Illinois, a son of Frank Vernon and Clara Lee (Rogers) Davis.  Surviving are his children, David V. Davis, Jr. and Lori Jean Davis; and a sister, Mary Lee Davis of Ottawa.  He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Davis and a brother, James Edward Davis.
