Dean L. Anderson, Jr.

OTTAWA - Dean L. Anderson, Jr., 41, of Ottawa passed away at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at his home with his family by his side. Services will be private. Gladfelter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Dean was born June 3, 1968 in Ottawa, a son of Dean Leslie and Sherry D. (Caffee) Anderson. He married Tracy Denton on August 24, 2007 in Ottawa. Survivors include his wife, Tracy, of Ottawa; his father, Dean Anderson, Sr. of Ottawa; his children, Bradley and Billy Anderson both of Oglesby; his stepchildren, Deanna Michie, Morgan Denton, Dulton Steele, and Dawson Steele, all of Ottawa; and two brothers, Tony (Vanetta "Susie") Anderson and Billy Jo Anderson, both of Ottawa. He was preceded in death by his mother. Dean was a manager for CIMCO Recycling. He enjoyed bowling and softball, being a member of various bowling and softball leagues. He also had a love of demolition derbys and NASCAR and loved spending time in his new garage. His most treasured love was his family and his time spent with them. Dean was loved by all and loved all.
