Dennis A. Cruise Jr.

OTTAWA – Dennis A. Cruise Jr., age 46, of Ottawa, passed away Monday, February 25, 2019, at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 3rd at Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.  Private interment with Military Honors will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.

Dennis was born February 25, 1973 in Joliet, Illinois, a son of Dennis and Mary (Campbell) Cruise, Sr.  He married Sandi Mills August 9, 2014 in Ottawa.  Dennis is survived by his wife, Sandi; his parents, Dennis and Mary Cruise, Sr.; children, Matthew, Andrea and Cassandra Cruise; and a sister, Geanean (Bill) Misener.

Dennis proudly served in the U.S. Army.  He was employed as general manager of Quest Water Sports in Ottawa.  Dennis dearly loved his wife, Sandi.  He was a man who enjoyed life and spending time boating and listening to music.  Dennis was a happy, outgoing, selfless man who always put the needs of his many friends above his own.
