OTTAWA - Ellen A. Scerini, 58, of Ottawa, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Ottawa Regional Hospital and Healthcare Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2012 at Gladfelter Funeral Home with Reverend Jules Adator officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Ellen was born February 26, 1953 in Ottawa, a daughter of Frank Sr. and Anne (Vidmar) Scerini. She is survived by her mother, Anne, of Ottawa; two brothers, Frank (Marjorie) Scerini, Jr. of Las Vegas Nevada and Donald Scerini of Ottawa; and two nephews, Aaron Scerini of Ottawa and Adam (Bridget) Scerini of Bartlett IL. She was preceded in death by her father. Ellen was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church of Ottawa. She was a beloved daughter and sister who spent her time as a devoted caretaker to her mother. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
