OGLESBY - Isak A. Penrod, age 15, of Oglesby, passed away at 6:07 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2009 near Oglesby. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Gladfelter Funeral Home. There will be no visitation. Isak was born March 8, 1994 at San Diego, California, the son of Frederick McFarland and Alexandria Penrod. He is survived by his father, Fred of Punta Gorda, FL; his mother, Alexandria Penrod of Oglesby; and a sister, Mara Penrod of Oglesby. He also leaves grandparents, Jim and Ethel Newman of Cedar Point, Fred McFarland, Sr. of Florida; great-grandparents, Jean Gwaltney and D.W. McFarland of Florida; an aunt, Elizabeth Penrod and cousins Jacob and Kinnason. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
