Lukas VanHouten, infant son of Nathaniel and Abigail (Lapso) VanHouten, was stillborn Friday, August 10, 2018 at Illinois Valley Community Hospital in Peru.
A memorial service for Lukas will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 17th at Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home in Ottawa, with Pastor Tony Ross officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. till service time Friday.
Lukas is survived by his loving parents, Nate and Abigail VanHouten of Streator; a brother, Ethan Van Houten; a sister, Charlotte VanHouten; paternal grandfather, Gerard VanHouten; and maternal grandmother, Mary Lapso. Lukas was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Angela VanHouten and his maternal grandfather, Ronald Lapso.
