Mary G. Ross

Mary Grace Ross, age 59, of Ottawa, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Goldwater Care in Pontiac with her loving husband and daughters at her side.

Mary was born August 22, 1966 at The Azores, Portugal, to Joao and Isabel (Costa) Brihante. She married Ronald Ross July 7, 1995 in Ottawa. Mary is survived by her loving husband, Ron, who affectionately referred to her as "my little sweetie; her daughters, Amanda (Josue) Rodriguez of Ottawa and Sarah Ross and husband Marino Ramirez of Evanston; and grandchildren Milo and Mateo Rodriguez. She also leaves her mother, Isabell Costa; and brothers John (Maria) Brihante of Newark, NJ and Edward Brihante of Florida. Mary was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Anita Brihante.

Mary was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed scrapbooking in her leisure time. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 26th at Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home followed by memorial services at 6:00 p.m. with Monsignor Mark Merdian officiating. Private interment will be in St. Columba Cemetery at a later date.
