Mary Marie Turner, 86, of Ottawa died Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Community Hospital of Ottawa. There will be no visitation or funeral services. Cremation will be accorded. Gladfelter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Turner was born April 23, 1920 in Ottawa to Henry Torkel and Nellie (Wynn) Jacobs. She married George W. Turner on December 29, 1953 He died November 15, 2002. She had worked at Adams Drug Store, Fort Hopkins Drug Store and the Secretary of State Office in Ottawa. She is survived by a sister, Doris Lawyer of Ottawa She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph H. Jacobs.
