Mildred M. Helffrich, age 92, of Ottawa, passed away 12:53 p.m. Tuesday, August 02, 2011 at the Ottawa Pavilion. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 5, 2011 at Gladfelter Funeral Home with the Reverend David M. Kipfer officiating. Interment will follow in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. till service time Friday at the funeral home. Mildred was born October 11, 1918 at Ottawa, Illinois, a daughter of John Martin and Myra (Schomas) Helffrich. She is survived by several friends and Robert Bartman of Streator. Miss Helffrich was a member of St. Columba Church. She retired as a clerk from Famous Department Store in 1985. Memorial contributions may be made to Masses.
