Nathan Andre Savoie, age 36, of Taylorville, Illinois, passed away Friday, June 12, 2026 at Loyola University Medical Center.

Nathan was born April 2, 1990 in Paxton, Illinois to Richard "Mitch" Andre Savoie and Rhonda McLaughlin. On June 8, 2017, he married Torri Young at Decatur, Illinois. Surviving are his wife, Torri of Taylorville; his children, Scott, Charlee and Violet Savoie all of Taylorville; his mother, Rhonda McLaughlin of Indiana; and a brother, Cody McLaughlin of Kentucky. Nathan was preceded in death by his father; a brother Scott McLaughlin and a sister, Meghan McLaughlin.

Nathan proudly served in the U.S. Army. He was an artist and enjoyed skateboarding, skiing, playing older video games, collecting comic books and reading Stephen King books.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
