Patricia “Tricia” Gage - Jackson, age 51, of Ottawa, completed her earthly journey and was welcomed to her Heavenly Home on Monday, January 24, 2022 with her loving family by her side. She fought a long and courageous seven year battle with cancer, she fought with a smile on her face and laughter in her ears.
A funeral service celebrating Pastor Tricia’s life will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday, January 31st at Crossbridge Community Church, 4161 Columbus St. Ottawa, IL., with Pastor Sherry Stevenson and Pastor Dave Alderson officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Monday at the church. Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home is honored to serve the Jackson family.
Pastor Tricia was born June 23, 1970 in Ottawa, Illinois, the daughter of Linda Loughridge and James R. Gage. She married Joseph Jackson October 9, 1999 in Ottawa. Tricia is survived by her devoted husband, Joe; her loving children, Hunter, Steven and Drew Jackson of Ottawa; and a step-daughter, Alexandria Jackson of Crest Hill. She also leaves parents, Linda Loughridge and James Gage of Ottawa; grandchildren, Aria, Zoey, Riley and Niklaus; and brothers, Bubba and Jeffrey Gage of Ottawa. Tricia was preceded in death by her grandparents, Avery and Patricia Loughridge and Glenn and Dorothy Gage; uncles Bill and Michael Loughridge.
Pastor Tricia graduated from Marquette High School in Ottawa and earned a degree in nursing from Ravenwood School of Nursing. She also earned a degree in massage therapy from the National University of Health Science in Lombard. Tricia had worked as a registered nurse prior to becoming affiliated with Crossbridge Community Church where she served as the Recovery Pastor and as the Online Campus Pastor. She dedicated her life to the physical and spiritual healing and recovery of others. Tricia had served as a Cub Scout leader and was very instrumental in the Celebrate Recovery program through the church. She enjoyed music, loved being in nature, respected and adored the ocean, and was a die hard Cubs fan! She had a genuine love and caring spirit for people, many would say she “had healing hands”. Tricia deeply loved and cherished the time spent with her family.
Pallbearers will be Brothers Bubba Gage, Jeffery Gage; Cousins Adan Torres Jr., Michael Torres; and Honorary Sons Jeremiah “J-Rod”Rodrigues, Lito Cosme.
