Patrick F. Griffin, III, 77, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the Ottawa Pavilion. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Gladfelter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Patrick Francis Michael Griffin, III was born May 19, 1933 at Chicago, Illinois, a son of Patrick F. and Alice (Glyn) Griffin, II. He is survived by a brother, Donald (Anne) Griffin of Chicago and a sister, Carol Griffin of Texas. He also leaves a friend, Mamie Guerra of Marseilles. Patrick served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed as a truck driver.
