Ronald W. Beal, 70, of Ottawa, passed away Monday, August 27, 2012, at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Gladfelter Funeral Home with John Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery at a later date. There will be no visitation.
Ronald was born February 8, 1942 in Quincy, Illinois. He is survived by his stepchildren, John (Linda) Robbins of Princeton, Lester Robbins of Sandwich, Jason Robbins of Ottawa, Gerald (Cindy) Robbins of Harding, and Eric Robbins of Ottawa; and his step grandchildren, Shannon (Verna) Robbins of Ottawa, Joshua Robbins of Harding, Heather (Ryan) Hopkins of Indiana, Nicole (Joshua) Stiegler of Indiana, Marty (Tina) Robbins of Wisconsin, Kenny Robbins of Sandwich, Amanda Robbins of Sheridan, Melissa Robbins of Sheridan, Bailey Robbins of Harding, Sam Robbins of Dekalb, Kent Robbins of Harding, Beth Ann Robbins of Harding, and Cody Tuntland of Ottawa. One daughter preceded him in death.
Ronald was a member of New Life Ministries. In his leisure he enjoyed collectables.
