OTTAWA - Ronald Ervin Norris, 68, of Ottawa, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Gladfelter Funeral Home with Reverend Duane Kaufman officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Ronald was born April 19, 1943 in Ottawa, a son of Frank Ervin and Betty (White) Norris. He is survived by two sons, Stephen Michael Engel and Ryan Lee Norris, both of Ottawa; a daughter, Dawn Engel of Ottawa; and a sister, Diane Norris of Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Ronald (Chino) Norris, and a brother, Tim Norris. Ronald was retired from DuPont Explosives after 10 years. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
