OTTAWA - Sherry D. Anderson, 61, of Ottawa died Friday, March 19th at Rush - Copley Medical Center in Aurora. Services will be private. Gladfelter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Sherry was born July 12, 1948 in Ottawa, a daughter of Raymond and Phyllis (Reynolds) Caffee. She married Dean Anderson March 16, 1968 in Ottawa. She is survived by her husband of Ottawa; her children, Tony (Vanetta) Anderson, Dean (Tracy) Anderson, Jr., and BillyJo Anderson, all of Ottawa; a brother, Ben (Sandy) Caffee of Ottawa; one step brother, Tim Carver of Dayton; a sister, Lu Ann Lilja of Des Plaines, IL; a step sister, Pearl Rather of Naplate; three half sisters, Julie (Richard) Hoffman of Florida, Leesa (Kary) McEmery and Joellyn (Brian) Vignochi, both of Marseilles; grandchildren, Amber Anderson, Heather (Andy) Janke, Bradley Anderson, Billy Anderson, Deanna Michie, Morgan Denton, and Dulton and Dawson Steele; one great granddaughter, Paige Janke; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, Mary Caffee, and one half brother, Leslie Caffee. Sherry was a beautician and owned and operated Sherry's Riverside Salon in Ottawa. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and working in the yard.
