Treva (Bednar) Salvati

Treva Salvati, age 97, of Ottawa, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018.

Private family services will be held.  Interment will follow in Oakwood Memorial Park.  There will be no visitation.

Treva was born October 15, 1920 in Streator, Illinois, a daughter of Michael J. and Katherine M. Bednar.  She married Ernest Salvati January 13, 1943 at Fort Smith, Arkansas.  He preceded her in death September 19, 2011.  Treva is survived by a granddaughter, Tracy Jonassen and a great-granddaughter, Chelsie Jonassen of Ottawa.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Victoria Johnson.

Treva was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.  She dearly loved sewing, cooking and caring for her family.
