Victor White, 84, of Mendota, formerly of Ottawa, died Monday, August 20, 2007, at Mendota Community Hospital. Funeral services will at 11 a.m. Thursday at Gladfelter Funeral Home with the Rev. Duane Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of services at the funeral home. Mr. White was born February 9, 1923, in Ottawa, to Mathew and Margaret (Humblet) White. He worked at Horizon Industries in Peru. He was a member of Special People Encounter Christ (SPEC) and People First.
