Brian Keith Rexroat

Brian K. Rexroat, age 62, of Chicago, passed away at the Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago on October 19, 2022.

Visitation will be held Sunday November 13th at Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Brian was born June 9, 1960 in Ottawa, the son of William and Doris (Pitts) Rexroat. He is survived by his children, Brian Rexroat, Stephanie Engel, and Justin Engel; a brother, Dave Rexroat; sisters, Carol Collins, Glenna (Steve) Bloomfield, Debra (Mike) Harmon, and Sandy Vanderwarker, and a sister in law Janet Rexroat. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Steve Rexroat, and brothers in law Robert Collins and Dave Vanderwarker.

Brian served his country in the United States Army. He worked several jobs during his life as a plumber, iron worker, and in construction. During his free time he liked to gamble. He leaves behind family and friends and will be missed.
