Joseph B. Dresbach

Joseph B. Dresbach, age 47, of Ottawa, Illinois, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa, Illinois.

Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Friday, March 19th, 2021 at Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home with Pastor Cheri Stewart officiating. Private interment will be in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, March 19, 2021 4:00 to 7:00PM at the funeral home.  Masks and social distancing will be required.

Joe was born August 25, 1973 in Peru, Illinois, a son of Donald and Rosemary A. (Ksycki) Dresbach.  He married the love of his life, Lisa Miskell on October 1, 2005 at the First United Methodist Church in Ottawa.  He is survived by his wife, Lisa; two sons, Arik Miskell and Dawson Dresbach, at home; three siblings, Frank Dresbach (Kelly) of Seattle, WA, Anne Houk (Jeff) of Ottawa, IL, and Cece Cormier of Las Vegas, NV; his nephew, Zander Houk as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Joe was a member of First United Methodist Church and had been employed in the maintenance department of the Ottawa Elementary School District.  He had a talent for restoring Ford cars and working on model cars with his son.  Joe dearly enjoyed fishing and hunting.  The most important time for Joe was that spent with his family.  Joe was a member of Sandy Ford Sportsmen's Club and the LaSalle County Cruisers.
