Norma Jean Warren

Norma Jean Warren, age 92, of Morris, formerly of Ottawa, passed away Tuesday morning August 23, 2022 at Morris Hospital.

A Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, August 27 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Morris with Father Jason Stone celebrating. Visitation will be an hour prior to the mass at the church. Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Norma was born in Ottawa, on November 28, 1929, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Michaels) Repka. She is survived by her children, Matthew (Maria) Warren, Frank Warren, and Andrea (Jeff) Bailey; grandchildren, Lesley Warren, Daniel (Chelsea) Roseland, Emma Roseland, Adam (Samantha Wanke) Roseland, and Mackenzie Warren; step grandchildren, Clara and Ella Bailey, and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Lynn Hart and Doris Varland; and a brother-in-law Lawrence Varland; a grandson, Joshua Warren, and a son-in-law, Chuck Roseland Jr..

Norma was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Naplate for many years before being closed. She worked as a Registered Nurse at the Community Hospital of Ottawa. She worked as a single mom and always put her family before herself. In her retirement years she enjoyed traveling, Bingo, Scrabble, crossword puzzles, reading, feeding birds, and knitting and crocheting until the past ten years. Above all, Norma loved her family and her grandkids.
