Owen Scott Matthews

Owen Scott Matthews, infant son of Yolanda Villa and Brenton Matthews, passed away Thursday, September 16th at Prentice Women’s Hospital in Chicago.

Memorial services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 25th at Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home.

Owen was born September 15, 2021 in Chicago.  He is survived by his parents, Yolanda Villa and Brenton Matthews; siblings, Eelan and Asher Hodge, Raven and Luna Matthews and Addie Sorenson.  He also leaves grandparents, Scott (Luanne Sasser) Stanford; as well as aunts and uncles, Chelsea (Andrew Paisley) Matthews and Alicia (Dave Jochum) Matthews.  Owen was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Owen and Debbie Matthews and maternal aunt, Nikita Stanford.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Lurie Children’s Hospital.
