Shawn Farrell

Shawn P. Farrell, age 60, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023 at his home.

Shawn was born November 26, 1962 in LaSalle, the son of Robert Joseph and Mary Katherine (Ewing) Farrell. He went to school at Triton University and earned his associates degree in photography. He went on to run a photography business of his own for a while. He was a handy man who enjoyed helping people. He was always looking for things to make crafts with and most recently made windchimes out of tin. His friends and his family meant everything to him and he never wanted any of them to feel left out. He will be dearly missed.

Shawn is survived by a brother, Mike (Athena) Farrell; sisters, Michelle (Harold) Deacon and Sue (George) Robertson. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 4, at 5 p.m. at the Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home with Reverend Duane Kaufman officiating. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
