Steve B. Almeda

Steve B. Almeda, 74, of Ottawa, passed away December 15, 2020 at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Spring Valley.

Cremation rites have been entrusted to Gladfelter-Roetker Funeral Home.

Steve was born August 24, 1946, the son of Trinidad and Lenore (Huerta) Alameda.  He is survived by his ex-wife and mother of his children, Charlotte Wheeler; a daughter, Ann Yardley; son, Steve Almeda; and a daughter, Thelma “TJ” Jean Lowers; two brothers, Francis “Peppy” Almeda of Ottawa, and Trinidad Almeda of Utica; two sisters, Herlinda Almeda and Josie Jeffries, both of Ottawa, grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, as well as several great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Joseph, Raymond, and Anthony Almeda, and three sisters, Catherine Arroyo, Mary Cabrera, and Victoria Hensley.

Steve was retired and lived in Ottawa.
